I want to begin with my favorite lines from the poem Little Gidding by T.S. Eliot.

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time

Through the years, I've studied classical literature for cello. As I explore, I find there is so much more to learn about the cello and different styles of music. Now, I am at a place where I want to share my favorite cello music with others. Therefore, I've recorded the CD using my Paul Hilaire cello, made from a living tree.

The order of the tracks goes from the chronology of my learning each piece. The cello has led me into the very depths of understanding, and out into the glorious light of living with music. How could we live without music?
